Intersection of North Creek Drive & US Hwy 176, Summerville, SC
North Creek is a 140,000 sq. ft. ground-up retail development to be built on approximately 25 acres in Berkeley County, South Carolina. Opportunities for anchors, shops and restaurant spaces are available.
The center will be located across from a Publix shopping center as well as Cane Bay Plantation. The home sales of Cane Bay put it on a national list of top-selling, master-planned communities in the United States. Volvo is constructing a $500 million auto-manufacturing plant northwest of the shopping center.
U.S. Census data indicates that Berkeley County is “the fastest-growing county in South Carolina and the 40th fastest growing county in the United States from 2010 to 2014.” There are currently three schools from kindergarten to 12th grade in the area as well as medical offices, banks and restaurants. A new church, a YMCA, and an assisted-living facility is also coming to the area.
Construction of the shopping center is scheduled to begin in 2017 with an opening in early 2018.
